How to confirm that a service request has been received on Taqt

How to check If a service request has been registered on the Taqt dashboard ?

🛠️ When a user presses a service request button on a TaqtOne device, it's crucial to confirm that the request has been properly registered and logged on the Taqt portal app.taqt.com.

Here’s how to easily track the creation and confirmation of a request.

✅ 1. Check in real time through the Service Request menu

Steps to follow:

  1. Log in to app.taqt.com

  2. Open the Service Request menu from the left-hand menu
👉 Access the Service Request menu directly

Check for:

  • The presence of a new service request ticket that matches the button press

  • The timestamp to confirm that the request was recently created

📋 2. Check in the Data menu

Each button press is also logged as an event in the Data menu.

How to check:

  1. Go to the Data menu

  2. Apply filters by:

    • Location

    • Event type → Select the service request you’re interested in

You’ll be able to view:

  • The type of button pressed (e.g., cleaning, maintenance…) if you filtered by location

  • The date and time of the event

  • The location where the request was made if filtered by event type

🔔 3. Check via Alerts (if enabled)

If you’ve set up service request alerts, you’ll receive an email or SMS notification automatically.

This helps you keep informed of new requests without having to monitor the dashboard continuously.

❓ What if No Request appears?

If you cannot find a button press or a service request:

  • Check whether the device is working properly

  • Ensure the device is connected (not marked as "Disconnected" or "Inactive")
    👉 Understand device statuses

  • Try again with a new button press to generate a new event
