How to activate a TaqtOne?
🚀 Getting Your TaqtOne ready to go
When you receive your TaqtOne devices, they’re already linked to your Taqt account. However, you still need to activate them so they can start sending data.

🚨 Important:
A device won’t send any data until it’s activated, even if it’s switched on

ℹ️
Note: You can’t manually add a TaqtOne to your account. If you’re missing any devices, please contact us at

🔍 How to find unactivated TaqtOne devices
You can quickly spot any unactivated devices by:
Going to the homepage and clicking “Devices not activated” OR
Checking the Devices menu to find devices with the status “Provisioned.”
These devices aren’t yet assigned to a location and won’t start transmitting data until they are.
🛠️ How to activate a TaqtOne
To activate a TaqtOne and start collecting data, you’ll need to assign it to a specific location. When you install it, make sure to note the device’s ID and where it’s installed (e.g., “Women’s Restroom – 3rd Floor, left side”). This will help you link the device to the right spot in the app.

Tip: If you have several TaqtOne devices to activate, it’s a good idea to set up your location hierarchy first (organizing locations) in the Locations menu. Then you can quickly link each device to its correct spot.
Step-by-Step: Activating a TaqtOne
Locate the TaqtOne’s ID.
Open the Devices menu
Use filters to find the device you want.
Click “Add a location” to either create a new location or select one from your existing list.
Confirm the association of the TaqtOne to the selected location.
Once you’ve done this, the TaqtOne is live and ready to transmit data to your account. You can then track and analyze the data it collects.
