How to label or assign an NFC Tag on Taqt ?
Learn how to identify an NFC Tag and associate it with a name or label in the Taqt dashboard, to display clearer data in your reports.
Give a name to your NFC tags and/or Link Them to Staff Members
The NFC tags provided with your TaqtOne devices can be assigned to any staff member, whether or not they have a Taqt user's account.
This allows the person's name to appear in the data tables when the tag is used.
This step is optional. Even without assigning a tag to a specific person, data will still be recorded and displayed on the dashboard.Step 1 – Find the NFC Tag ID
The unique ID (14 alphanumeric characters) is printed directly on the front of the NFC tag.
Make a note of this ID for the next step.
Step 2 – Assign the tag in the Taqt dashboard
Search for the tag using its ID
Log in to the Taqt dashboard.
Go to Users & Teams, then open the Tags tab.
Use the ID column filter (funnel icon) to search for the NFC tag ID.
Associate the Tag With a Taqt User or Define a Label
In the Tag's row, click the [...] menu, then select Edit tag.
Choose one of the following options:
Assign a label to the tag (e.g., a person's name or any label you want to be displayed instead of the ID).
Link the tag to an existing Taqt dashboard user.
Click Save to confirm.
From now on, the defined name or label will appear in the Data and Tasks menus instead of the tag ID.
