Traceability of data received from trackers and sent to connectors (logs)

The "build" interface of the Ubiqod platform allows you to configure trackers (connected devices, QR codes...) to send their data to third-party systems via connectors.

  1. The platform includes a data traceability system allowing:
  2. To view the data received from the trackers
  3. To know which data has been sent to the connectors and to view the connector’s response
  4. To replay failed data when necessary
  5. To acknowledge failed data
In case of data errors, an alert email is sent to the account managers.

These "technical" data are intended for expert users. They are kept for 45 days before being deleted.

Traceability of data received from trackers (logs)

The list of data received from a tracker is accessible by clicking on the "Show logs" button in the actions of the tracker list:

Each received data has a status: green when the data is valid and has been transmitted to the connector(s) associated with the tracker, red otherwise.

Log list for a tracker

Viewing the details of the data is very useful to ensure that the data sent through the trackers is properly delivered to the Ubiqod platform. A red status is not necessarily a sign of malfunction: it may be due to the user scanning the QR code without submitting a form, or indicate that the account has run out of credits.

An orange status indicates that the data is being processed.

A gray status indicates that it is a utility data that is not intended to be sent to the connector(s).

Traceability of data sent to connectors (logs)

The list of data sent to the connectors is accessible:
  1. By clicking on the "View logs" button in the actions of the tracker list, under the "Connector logs" tab (only the logs of the selected tracker will be visible)
  2. By clicking directly on the "Show logs" button available from the connector list (in the "History" column). All data from the trackers associated with this connector will then be visible

Valid and transmitted data

Data with a green status indicator have been transmitted to the connector, and the content of the data sent can be viewed:

Log details for a connector

In case of an error (red status), it is possible to view the server’s response to identify the source of the problem:

Server response for a connector

It is possible to replay a failed data, or to acknowledge the alert so that it no longer appears in the error data:

Other data statuses

A gray indicator shows that the data has not been transmitted to the connector due to the configured filtering parameters.

An orange status indicates that the data is being processed.
