How to replace the batteries in a TaqtOne ?

  • Replacing the batteries in a TaqtOne is a quick and essential task to ensure your device continues functioning properly over time.
Follow the steps below to do it safely and without damaging the device.

🔋 What type of Batteries I need to use?

The TaqtOne runs on 6 AA (LR6) Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries, specifically recommended for their long lifespan and reliability, even in harsh environments.

WarningDo not use standard alkaline, rechargeable, or non-recommended brands of batteries.
This can cause malfunctions, reduce battery life or damage the device.

  • 🧰 Steps to replace the batteries

    1. Gather the tools required

    • 1 Allen key

    • 6 new Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA batteries

    • 1 clean and dry cloth (optional)

    2. Remove the front panel

    • Use the Allen key to unscrew the small screw at the bottom of the TaqtOne.

    • Then insert the same Allen key into the slot above the screw to smoothly lever and remove the front panel.

  • 3. Insert the new batteries

    • Remove the old batteries and note their orientation.

    • Insert the 6 new batteries, following the + / - polarity indicators.

    • Make sure the batteries are properly fitted and that no contact points are damaged or oxidized.

    4. Close the device

    • Reattach the front panel and tighten the screw at the bottom.

    • Press along the edges to ensure the panel is securely fitted into the casing.

✅ After replacement: What to check ?

    • The screen should refresh.

    • A LED should blink in the top-right corner (depending on connection status).

    • If nothing happens, restart the device using the magnet provided.
