Why is the LED blinking at the top right of the Taqt One?

The Taqt One includes an LED located in the upper right corner of its front panel. It displays two colors: green and red.

This LED is used to indicate several things:

  • Connectivity status when sending a message
  • NFC activation
  • Terminal firmware update (FOTA)

Connectivity Status When Sending a Message

  • Flashing green LED, once per second: Searching for a network.
  • Flashing red LED, once per second: First network search attempt failed.
  • Flashing green LED, once every 3 seconds: Network established, waiting for the data session to activate (Note: This step may last only a short moment).
  • Rapidly flashing green LED, three times per second: Network connected, server communication in progress.

NFC Activation

Pressing a button to activate NFC is required. By default, the activation time is 5 seconds.

  • If NFC is successfully activated: The LED flashes very quickly and briefly in green, then slowly flashes red (once per second) throughout the tag listening period (default is 5 seconds).
  • If NFC activation fails: The LED flashes very quickly in red, and the buzzer emits beeps simultaneously (this step lasts less than 2 seconds).

Terminal Firmware Update (FOTA)

When the terminal is in the process of updating to a new firmware, the LED alternates colors, flashing slowly in green and red.
