What is a group in Ubiqod?
In the Ubiqod field tracking platform, Groups allow for the organization of tracker management. These groups serve two purposes:
- To group trackers for better monitoring, for example, by organizing them by geographical area, by client, or by contract.
- To grant access to a specific set of trackers to certain account users only.
A tracker can be assigned to one single group.
Creating a Group and Assigning Users
In the Groups menu, click on the Create button. Name your group and assign users to the group.

The user’s general permissions apply. If a user has a reader role on the account, and a group of trackers is assigned to them, they will only be able to view the associated trackers without being able to modify them.
Assigning Trackers to a Group
Bulk Assignement
In the tracker menu, select the trackers you want to assign to a group, then click on the “Assign a group” button. Select the group from the list, then click the Assign X trackers button.
Individual Assignement
You can also assign a tracker to a group individually by clicking on the tracker and selecting a group.
