Classic QR codes cannot be used as proof of presence. All it takes is a photo of the QR code to check in from anywhere. Combining QR codes with geolocation does not reliably prove that a person was actually at a specific location either.

SafeQod is a patented solution whose displayed QR code changes at regular intervals. If someone takes a photo of the QR code and attempts to reuse it later, the system detects the fraudulent attempt.

To add proof of presence to your own application, simply redirect the user to your form URL, or to a URL that opens your application, while passing a security token as a parameter in that URL. You can then verify the validity of this token using the Ubiqod API.
