Undertanding Forms for QR Code Tracking

Using Forms for QR Code Tracking

If you choose to track your field activities with QR codes, you need to set up a web page where your users will land after successfully scanning the QR code. In Ubiqod, this page is called an interface and is essentially a form. Depending on your need, you can select the adapted form type.

Integrated forms

Ubiqod embeed several type of forms (interfaces):

Single choice

The user can press a button to make a choice. Once pressed, the submission will be validated.
This type of form is suitable for:
  1. Time tracking with an "Arrive" button and a "Depart" button
  2. Geolocation of an asset with a "Locate" button

Multiple choices

The user can select several options before validation.
This type of form is suitable for:
  1. On demand services
  2. Task management

Common configuration options

Whatever form type you choose, you can configure the following options:
  1. Geolocation: The user will be prompted to grant access to their GPS location. This data will then be sent to the connectors.
  2. Form customization
  3. User authentication
  4. Redirection after submission

External forms (redirection)

If you need complex forms, you can use the redirection feature to link your QR code to an external form tool like Zoho Forms, Typeform, JotForm, or Google Forms (among many others).
